Writings of Jim Archibald

Many have said how effective a speaker Jim was; saying his talks were full of both knowledge and enthusiasm. Part of that success was down to the preparation he made for such events. 'The Enchanted Island'  shows the preparation for a talk by Jim on Corsica, drafted in longhand in the very early 1960s.

We also have some letters to Jim from the Ulster Group of the AGS, about his plant trips and arranging a visit from him to give this Talk: mention is made of his plans after graduation - he did become a teacher of sorts, but not in a school!

Jim Archibald wrote a number of articles, and we have collated as many of these as possible.  They are listed below in chronological order.
