"Nature – Gardeners' Tutor II"
with Ian Young
Ian is a well known grower, speaker, broadcaster, exhibitor, and a past president of the SRGC. This is a revised and thoroughly updated version of his previous talk. It looks at what we can learn about growing plants through observing them in a range of natural habitats from the mountains to the seaside.
Observing how plants grow in nature is most instructive, and this talk considers how these observations challenge our notions of gardens. Ian will compare various natural habitats which he has seen, and describes how he has mimicked and incorporated them into the garden.
The Zoom link will be posted here on the day of the talk.
