SRGC Autumn Festival and AGM

Our 2022 Autumn Festival and AGM was held as a face-to-face meeting this year.

Early Bulb Day - (online) Sat 19th February 2022 (10.30am - 1.30pm GMT)

This online FREE event replaced our annual SRGC Early Bulb Day which usually takes place in the Victoria Hall in Dunblane, Sirlingshire, and which was cancelled as a result of the Covid pandemic.  The new online event consisted of two online lectures.

"Bulbs Later in the Year" with Sandy Leven. 

"The Woodland Garden Throughout the Year" with Colin Crosbie.

With time for questions after each talk, and a comfort break in the middle with time to chat before the next talk.

SRGC Annual General Meeting

Discussion Day
Sat 9th October 2021 (4-8pm BST)

An online FREE event replacing the annual residential SRGC Discussion Weekend consisting of 3 online lectures:

"Creating the Caucasus Crevice Garden" with Nick Courtens, Curator of Plant Collections at the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, Vail, Colorado, USA. (The W C Buchanan Lecture)

"European Alpines in Nature - A New Look" with Jim Jermyn, Property Manager and Head Gardener, Branklyn Garden, Perth, Scotland. (The John Duff Lecture)

"In the Southern Alps with Steve Newall" with Hamish Brown, Christchurch, New Zealand.  (The Harold Esselmont Lecture)
