About Membership

Membership of the SRGC is open to anyone wherever in the world you live. The current subscription rates are as follows:

JOINING as a NEW Member	UK	Overseas	Renewal date
Single (annual membership)	£20	£25	1st October
Junior (aged under 18 on 1 October)	£3	£8	1st October
Family (two adults at the same address plus 2 children under 18 on 1st October)	£23	£28	1st October
Electronic membership (no paper documents, email only)	£11	£11	Anniversary of joining
Electronic Student membership (as above, free whilst a student)	£Free	£Free	Anniversary of joining

If you prefer, you can buy a multi-year membership for 3 years in advance at three times the above annual rates. This allows you to save on currency conversion costs.

If you are NOT already a member please click here: Membership | Join (for new members) which will then enable you to join the SRGC and pay by bank debit or credit card. It is very quick and easy.

If you wish Electronic Student membership, then please email the Subscriptions Secretary at giving details of your teaching institution, course name, and start and finish dates.

RENEWAL of your EXISTING or PREVIOUS membership (even if it has expired)

If you ARE already a member of the SRGC (or your membership has recently expired) AND have previously given us your email address, please click Membership | Renew (for Existing members) on the menu, log in using your email address. Request a new password if you have forgotten it. You can then check your renewal date on your My Renewal and Payments page, and pay to renew your membership if it has lapsed. You will be reminded to renew at the right time by email.

If you have NOT previously given us your email address, then please do so now by emailing and we shall set it up for you. Once you have renewed, you will then have access to your personal information and to other online resources for members including the Seed Exchange.

Pay your future subscriptions automatically by DIRECT DEBIT from your UK bank account

It helps us both if you can renew automatically and pay by Direct Debit - this works for members with an account with a UK clearing bank. Print, complete, and sign this Direct Debit form, and return it to us, and we shall collect your subscription automatically each October. No need to worry about forgetting to renew!
